FAQ's

FAQ's for Concrete5 lets you easily add lists of Frequently Asked Questions to your site. A Dashboard Page is included to manage and edit questions and there are three blocks, Accordion View, List View and User Submission Block to allow visitors to your site to submit questions.

Accordion View

Are User Submitted questions automatically added to pages?

When a user submits a question you need to review the question, add the answer to the question and save it as an Active FAQ. Once saved it will display on pages with FAQ Blocks installed

Can I have more than one FAQ Accordion on a page?

Yes. The accordion block will function indipendenly of each other and there can be multiple instances of them.

Can I style the list?

We use a very minimum amount of styling on all our Add Ons, most of the styling you see will come from your theme and not our blocks. Because of the dark background on this page and we wanted the text a little smaller than our default H3 tag we added a little styling:

How do I know if someone has submitted a question to the FAQ's?

You can configure the FAQ Submit Bock to send you an email anytime someone has submitted a question to the FAQ Add On. If there are submissions waiting for you will see a red "Submissions" button at the top of the FAQ Dashboard Page.

What happens if I don't select an Author when making an FAQ?

If no Author is selected Admin is used as the default author.

Why are some FAQ's displayed in red on the Dashboard Page?

Red titles indicate the FAQ is not active to be displayed on the site.
